Lions Club of Poona Sarasbaug is one of the branch of Lions Club International working trough 209 countries and having more than 46,397 clubs with membership of more that 1.4 millions. In the year 2007 LCIF was declared number one NGO trough out the world in competition held in USA.

Lions Club of Poona Sarasbaug was started on 26th January 1977 and was a part of Lions Clubs International, District 3234 D-2 which comprises of Lions Club of Poona,Pimpri Chinchwad, Nashik, Nagar revenue District. Lions Club of Poona Sarasbaug was started with 35 members and now having 134 young, well educated and knowledgeable members from industry, business, profession, social and various other fields. 

Lions Club of Poona Sarasbaug is well known for various kind of social need based activities in urban as well as rural areas. Our club is registered under Income Tax Act,1961, The Bombay Public Trust Act,1951 having registration no. E-772 Pune.
